The Truman Heartland Youth Advisory Council raises funds to support the YAC Endowment, which is used for grantmaking. This event increases their funds for giving, and provides a fun way for students to get together to make a difference in their communities.

For more than 20 years, the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at Truman Heartland Community Foundation has been empowering students in Eastern Jackson County to change their communities through philanthropy. Each year, students from area high schools work together to give back, gaining hands-on experience in grantmaking, fundraising, and volunteering.
