Since 1982, Truman Heartland has awarded more than $7.5 million in scholarships.

Our Scholarship Program grows every year thanks to our generous fund holders. 

Truman Heartland awards scholarships to students based on criteria set by their donors to support students pursuing a variety of educational disciplines.

2024-2025 School Year

More than $828,000 in scholarships was awarded to area students for the 2024-2025 school year. 

This year, the Community Foundation reviewed 2,271 completed scholarship applications and awarded 461 scholarship awards to 334 area students. 

2023-2024 School Year

$738,050 was awarded in 2023. There were 445 scholarships awarded, with 312 students receiving scholarships. There were 2,136 applications received, funded by 159 Scholarship Funds. 

2022-2023 School Year

$656,187 was awarded in 2022, funded by 136 scholarship funds. There were 1,396 applications received, and 389 scholarships awarded.
