This award was established to recognize and honor Dr. Richard Miller for his service as Faculty Advisor to the men of Sigma Pi Fraternity at Missouri University of Science and Technology from August 1988 through June 2010. During this period, Dr. Miller provided valuable guidance and mentorship to the fraternity and volunteered his time endlessly to inspire service and develop character in our members.

Eligibility:

• Must be a graduating high school senior (or equivalent);
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at Missouri University of Science and Technology;
• Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
• Must have demonstrated leadership skills and good character;
• Must have demonstrated participation in community service activities;
• Preference may be given to members or intended members of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity but this is NOT REQUIRED.

Amount:

Up to $1,500.

Renewable:

This is not a renewable scholarship.
